3D Tae Kwon Do Overview
Maximize your or your child's potential through training with the 3D Tae Kwon Do program.
In 3D Tae Kwon Do, students learn fundamental Tae Kwon Do skills, including various blocks, hand strikes, and kicks. Instruction focuses on maximizing speed, power, and flexibility while also defining and emphasizing the three Ds -- Discipline, Determination, and Defense -- both inside and outside of the classroom.
Unlike any other school, students in 3D Tae Kwon Do train with their shoes on to maximize the practical application of their training.
Throughout their training, students develop discipline through systematic practice of blocks, kicks, punches, and open-handed strikes and may also include various take-downs or sweeps, throws, and joint locks. At each belt exam, students are required to define at least one of the principles and perform techniques in front of a panel of experienced martial artists.
Determination develops as students gain motivation and confidence to advance from one rank to the next. Students continue to expand upon their knowledge of the three Ds and build up on their Tae Kwon Do skills, ultimately earning a promotion to the master rank of black belt.
Students are taught right from the start that defense techniques learned are only to be used to protect themselves if someone is trying to hurt them. Hopefully, an attack never occurs, but if it does, 3D Tae Kwon Do students will be prepared to defend themselves.
Training available for adults and kids ages five and up.
